Kim knows that when we do not stress over money, we are freed up mentally to make bigger
contributions to the world (through passion projects and taking chances in our careers). After graduating
from Stanford, Kim has owned her own engineering consulting firm for eight years. She has extensive
knowledge of budgeting and planning from both a business and personal perspective, including
retirement planning for small business owners. As a first generation college graduate, she received
financial advice from the Stanford community which has served her well. Kim believes that with the right
tools, students of every background and major can get their finances in line and thrive professionally.
