Kelly Takahashi believes that personal finance is a powerful tool to help folks live the life they want. With Stanford for 11 years, she is the Director of Strategic Operations and Finance for Student and Academic Services, and the Director of the Mind Over Money Program. She is a financial counselor and educator certified by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. Prior to Stanford, she spent 13 years as a commercial lender with Union Bank, leaving her with a practical education in business management and planning. Kelly was a first generation college student and wants to help students make plans to reach their goals, set themselves up to practice healthy financial behaviors, and reduce daily financial stress.
